What is Georgia Pediatric Program?
GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program) is a Medicaid program that provides services to medically fragile children in need of skilled nursing care with NO COST to the family. Services are provided in their homes and communities.
IN-HOME NURSING
The Georgia Pediatric In-Home Nursing Program services medically fragile children, under 21 years of age. Children must require skilled nursing care and currently be receiving physician-ordered services to be considered eligible for this program.
MEDICAID & KATIE BECKETT
GAPP Services comes at NO COST to members of Medicaid or Katie Beckett. The Katie Beckett Waiver takes the parent's income out of the picture and bases the decision on the child's needs.
Obtaining GAPP Approval
Thrive Health Group conducts in-home assessment and primary caregiver signs consent paperwork.
Thrive Health Group submits application to GAPP.
Thrive Health Group receives decision from GAPP.
Thrive Health Group contacts you to schedule the start of care or to discuss the appeal process if denied.
